It takes a movement to build confident Jewish identities, inspire future leaders, and create a vibrant, connected community. For nearly 50 years, Netzer Australia has been doing exactly that by providing meaningful Jewish experiences for our community and its youth. Through Netzer, our participants strengthen their Jewish identity, build lifelong friendships, and develop into the leaders who will shape our community for generations to come. As we look to the future, we remain committed to empowering the next generation and ensuring our movement continues to thrive.
Where will the donations be going?
We would be incredibly grateful if you could donate to our appeal, as it will provide our community with the resources to, among other things:
Support Shnat, Netzer's gap year program in Israel, by providing financial assistance, enhanced educational programming, and ongoing support to ensure participants can deepen their Jewish identity, develop as leaders, and build lifelong connections with Israel.
Strengthen connections with Israel by bringing Shlichim to Australia, providing authentic Israeli perspectives, meaningful educational experiences, and fostering lasting relationships between our communities and Israel.
Provide subsidies to ensure all Jewish chanichim/ot (participants) have the opportunity to experience Netzer camps and programs, regardless of financial circumstances.
Run leadership development programs for senior chanichim/ot (Years 9–12) and madrichim/ot (leaders), equipping them with the skills and confidence to lead within Netzer, the wider Jewish community, and beyond.
Deliver targeted and individualised educational initiatives that empower young people to engage critically with current issues, strengthen their Reform Zionist identity, and confidently navigate rising antisemitism and anti-Israel sentiment.
Expand opportunities across Australia by supporting small community programs, delivering educational seminars, and bringing high-quality Jewish education and leadership opportunities to Jewish communities nationwide.
