About Netzer Tasmania

Netzer, in association with the UPJ (Union for Progressive Judaism – Australia, New Zealand and Asia) runs an Outreach program to Progressive communities around the union.

The Jewish community in Tasmania is comparatively small to those on the mainland. However despite such a small Jewish population, there is a thriving Progressive community in Hobart. Netzer runs Hobart in coordination with the Tasmanian Union for Progressive Judaism.

Netzer is lucky to have chanichim (participants) from Hobart that attend our camps in Melbourne and sometimes also attend other events in Melbourne. If you are in Tasmania and interested in joining Netzer, please find contact details above.
